One day I was in the forest, talking with the trees. (What? This isn’t normal? It should be!)

THE FOREST: “Who are you?”

ME: “Excuse me?”

FOREST: Who are you?

ME: (stammering): “Um, I don’t know! How do I answer that?”

The forest was asking me to introduce myself. My core essence.

And I. had. no. idea. how.

I’d once heard a Native American teacher introduce herself in their customary way. It was arresting — stopped my heart mid-beat and raised goosebumps everywhere. I wasn’t raised with such customs, yet here was the forest, prompting and guiding me.

I sat with it, but I couldn’t come up with an answer. So I eventually left, but I kept thinking about it.. 

Over the next months, here’s what came. It arrived in pieces, during trancelike moments. I’d read it later and say, “I wrote that?!” And yet, it felt deeply true…

I come from the forests and plains, the oceans and skies, the portals and byways, the known and unknown. 

I am One with All even as I emanate from the All.

I am in the worlds but not of them.

I, Kimberly Joy Iolana Rieli, am here on Gaia to assist in the collective evolution of the human race and the coming Golden Age. We are great in number, strong in spirit, and we shall succeed.

You don’t have to be a poet or a priestess or even know where to begin. Just a willingness to listen. A curiosity to explore the whispers within. A readiness to reconnect with the voice of your soul.

Because here’s the truth: your voice is more than vocal cords and sound waves. It is a portal. A map. A torch that illuminates your path home.

When we find our true voice, we remember who we are.
